LFW | EUGENE LIN

Quoted by the BBC as being the ‘the most highly anticipated show off schedule’, Eugene Lin certainly proved why. Originally inspired by Norse mythology, his SS14 collection featured clean-cut pieces, tailored with soft textures and feathers to create a strong feminine look - representing the legendary story of the female warriors who became graceful swans.

The collection featured a number of sculptured a-line dresses, sharp jackets and shrunken suits, appearing in hues of angelic whites and magical blacks, as well as the all-surprising orange – Lin’s colour choice for SS14. The Central Saint Martins student has further developed his growing brand by introducing a number of accessories for the first time, which included bags and shoes.

His keen eye for tailoring, for which Eugene is known for, has produced a super-sleek SS14 collection, which highlights the feminine silhouette whilst maintaining a sharp and powerful edge. This collection was just made for the modern woman who balances the personas of powerhouse business woman with that of a sophisticated, glamorous lady.
